At least it was a new, fresh and helpful idea. </BLOCKQUOTE>

you're a student. they'll want to keep you. just explain to someone in authority that you'll have to open a student account somewhere else.

the bank, they did nothing, saying that it was harsh
It's not 'harsh', it's theft. Fight it. There is no way they can prove that they need to charge that much money for the damage your overdrawing does, because they don't.

Thieving skum.

Why is it never the account holders fault when they do overdrawn, its no secret banks charge when you go overdrawn. if you make every effort to ensure you dont go overdrawn in the first place you will never have to pay any charges.
he's 19 ****ing pence overdrawn mate.

I was doing that while you were still in short trousers.

That's assuming you've worn shorts in the last couple of years, of course.

I doubt it Markie boy. I've been on the site since it was launched (2003 ish) and at least three years ago I was being asked if I had shares in the site because I kept harping on about it (by BoroPhil... or was it Kolin?)

Oh and naturally I bought the book and wear the T-shirt.

yes which makes the original £38 a little bit harsh, wont argue that. But no excuse for not checking your account for months as the charges pile up.
