Apparently Edcarlos is not as good as Anderson Cléber.
I have seen Fábio Coentrão play a few times and like you say he looks a very good prospect

| No just the usual "we didn't win the league lets buy a bundle". This year it looks a more balanced spree than in past years. Only a couple of the bunch don't look good enough.
P.S.: We also signed more 3 young players that we loaned out that i didn't include |

Orion, do you think you're overall 'better' than last season? (Celtic fan so I'm curious as to what kind of opposition we're facing, hopefully you're about the same as last season!).

Don't know anything about the kids from Inter or Liverpool. Donati is a good player, while Brown is going to be something special. Also Scott McDonald, who for an aussie sign from motherwell is actually pretty good, and Chris Killen who I've seen hardly anything of since he signed.
Happy with the two midfielders, we should have signed an LB and a proper striker though, we lack quality up front.
Brown alone though is the kind of player who improves a team immeasurably with his presence and attutude, he reminds me of a cross between steven gerrard and henrik larsson (not as good, yet) - already our mentality seems MUCH better than last season, so his signing makes it a good window.

Luton - delighted with what Blackwell has done on such a small budget to build a solid looking squad with strength in depth we will require this season if we are to make a pormotion push
Chris Perry - Looks far too good for league 1, great leader at the bak
Richard Jackson - Good enouggh for league 1
Alan Goodall - not fully sure yet, looks good enough for league 1
David Edwards - super player, welsh under 21 captain and looking like a top signing
Darren Currie - This guys passing and first touch are just fb
Don Huthcinson - back up player, did well tonight in first full match
Paul McVeigh - not convinced yet, failed to perform in chances he has had
Paul Furlong - now he is fully match fit looks really up for it, could bag a load if he stays fit
Paul Peschasolido - looked very sharp tonight having come back from injury
amount of back up we have is fb, first team is good enough to do the required job this season and back up can fill in and help ouit like they did tonight in paint trophey to rest some legs

Santa Cruz for 3.5 is amazing business,
Nielsen is from Faroe Islands so we'll see
Rigters is difficult too judge, we will see... he isn't very physical so it's how he adapts i suppose...
I wish we brought a player in the Tugay/Dunn mould thats the only thing I wish we had...

| Thought he would still be good enough, will probably play really well in the Carling Cup game.

delighted with everton this close seaon.
after a slow start we managed to bring in some good players. Baines and the Yak bein the two big ones, i think Baines has bags of potential and everyone knows Yakubu has been the second most prolific striker in the last four years and even scored with his first touch in an everton shirt.
As for Gravesen the first i knew of the signin with me being in the arse end of nowhere was when i checked the net on my phone and seen that he had been booked, i had to double check on another site and was imediatly thinking why have we bought his back but aparently he struck up a good partnership with arteta straiht away and helped shift the match in our advantage.
overll yes im delighted with Moyes this summer

Extremely delighted with our summer signings, especially after such an awful boring season last season
Geovanni - Unlucky Arry, good signing on a freebie, already scored a few goals including the winner in the Derby, instant hero and has impressed
Elano - Hasn't really done it in the last 3 games but he was amazing against West Ham and Derby, you can see all the talent he has but i'm afraid teams are just going to continue to man mark him out of the game, but its up to him to adapt
Petrov - Shown glimpes, but hasn't really done it yet. I have no doubt he will do though, my favourite signing of the summer
Corluka - Looks great, should probably be playing as a centre back but he's good on the ball and does have some skill when going forward.
Bianchi - When he's looked good he's really been good, West Ham, Derby and Bristol, his movement is brilliant and has a good finish on him
Bojinov - Not seen enough of him, obviously out for 5-8 months now, such a shame
Gelson - Again not really seen enough of him, looked good against Bristol the other night
Garrido - Have been very impressed with him, but he had a shocker against Blackburn the other day, so have doubts about him now, but it was only 1 game
