Little bow and arrow (with arrows that have the sucky thing on the end that sticks to glass and things). Remember I got one of those off my aunt when I was about that age and it was absolutely fb, played with it for weeks until it broke.

what about something like a DS Lite? pretty cheap, plenty of games that appeal to that age, can play it in the car or whatever
