Am I only the person that doesn't think that interview was any different than anything else that has been said about Tevez? He is already our player on a 3 year contract. That doesn't mean anything though if he decides he wants to play for one of the big boys and they come in hard for him.

Bolton look set to pip Sunderland to the signing of Aston Villa midfielder Gavin McCann.

McCann is undergoing a medical with The Trotters prior to completing his switch to The Reebok Stadium.

The 29-year-old has a year left on his contract with Villa and it had been expected he would be offered a new deal by Martin O'Neill.

But McCann has opted to move on, having lost his starting place last season and Nigel Reo-Coker looking likely to move to Villa.

Bolton are believed to have had a fee in the region of £1million accepted for the former Everton man, who is keen on a return to the North West.

McCann should wrap up his move to Bolton within the next 24 hours.

In The Times "gossip" section today they said West Ham are very unlikly to take up their option to buy Tevez this summer and he will remain owned by Kia Joorabchian.


Presuming this is true I'm very confused. When the whole FA investigation was underway, when it ended didn't they announce that everything had been cleared up and now WH owned Tevez?
