Where's he been playing?

Purvis and others sum it up fairly well in the club thread tbh. Best looking in there. They've seen a lot more of him than I have.

Fledgling striker Danny Philliskirk has joined Premiership giants Chelsea, oldhamathletic.co.uk can exclusively reveal.

The 16-year-old star (son of Latics' youth team coach Tony) has been courted by a number of big clubs in recent weeks, and now makes the move south after Blues boss Jose Mourinho swooped.

Athletic and Chelsea have decided not to reveal the terms of the deal, but it promises to be potentially-lucrative for John Sheridan's side.

Indeed, oldhamathletic.co.uk confirms that Mourinho has agreed to look into sending some of his young starlets to Boundary Park on loan to gain experience.

Philliskirk signed scholarship terms with Latics several weeks ago after impressing in the Centre of Excellence setup, and has already made a handful of youth team appearances.

The youngster has signed a four-year deal, consisting of a two-year scholarship and a further two years on full professional contract.

Man Utd's Director David Gill (i think thats him) has said the mojority of the clubs spending this summer has happended in the last 24 hours.

He was quoted as saying it is unlikely that their will be anymore activity as the club have now spent £50m.

I would've thought Fergie would have looked at bringing in a striker.
