I concur.

Others i'd like to see nominated would be the Twilight Sad, 65daysofstatic, Biffy Clyro and Bloc Party only Bloc Party stand any real chance though

I was right the last two years with my predictions, and my tentative premilinary pointer for this year is May Winehouse. Not a better British album released over the last 12 months.

Jamie T - very good
Klaxons - okay
GTBAQ - *shrugs*
Arctic Monkeys - Okay.

Bloc Party? - awful
The Maccabees - quality
The Long Blondes? Or was that last year?
Sunshine Underground?
Razorlight?
Kaizer Chiefs?
Editors?
The Rapture?

Won't have even covered half of the acts in he final shortlist I should imagine.

the rapture are yankees, dude.

i really don't get the winehouse love. she was really dull at glastonbury, and tbh i preferred her first album to this one.

i instantly dismissed jamie t as london talky bo1locks like a male lily allen but the panel will probably embrace that as 'groundbreaking' or 'visionary' or some other such guff.

kate nash will probably make the shortlist if jamie t does, can see some completely average blokes-with-guitars like the view on there too.

the klaxons will win though. \o/
