The bizzare thing is that every UK subway ive ever been to has been significantly worse than the US ones, which were already poor

Pret a Manger ftw tbh. Now that is healthy.
Not really.

And Pret a Manger are a McDonald's company too iirc </BLOCKQUOTE>

Mcdonalds just bought significant shares after they had established. Their sandwiches are just as healthy as making your own ones. </BLOCKQUOTE>

I'd rather not subsidise their share buying by purchasing ridiculously overpriced sandwiches.

But then in Canterbury we're spoilt for choice if you really have to buy a sandwich.

Subway opened a second franchise in the city in answer to the competition from real sandwich makers.

Do they actually claim that, in their marketing and stuff? Because I'd suspect that is horsemanure.

I'd like to re-establish my dislike and disdain for Subways' overpriced and overrated ridiculously poor produce.

I'm not sure but I said that off my own back. They only use natural ingredients for the sandwiches and even make a point of saying when it was made, I don't really see how it could be different to homemade ones.

Waitrose tell you when their bread was baked, doesnt mean it's fs

I think if you asked a representative of the company they wouldn't make any such claim tbh.
