Anyone heard of that monster croc in Burindi? Killed approximately more than 100 people........that would have been some battle Irwin vs monster croc.

On a serious note, good bloke seemed like he was really passionate about what he did,sad loss really.

Poor Comment there mate! Educated a generation of kids, that might well remember him as a croc hunter or just an intelligent guy who knew how to spin it for the cameras to generate the interest and financial backing for his many projects….

I dont want to be remembered but there were plenty of nature programs and animal blokes in my generation and we all got educated to them pretty nicely.

I dont particularly care for his program style and maybe he's appealing to the "MTV Generation" (i.e. thick, short attention span) but i always myself, is that the best way to get 'kids' into animals ? Just generally annoying them, which is what he seemed to do to me. The 'olden days' style was more observational ... i prefered that :thup:
