Whoops. Meant to quote Goody's post there, never mind.

And Carter, don't tell me that people taking photos at rovers is costing them £££ ffs.

stop being an arse just for the sake of it. we're not talking about people smuggling telefoto lenses into the ground here for crying out loud.

No but they should be able to differentiate between photos/ videos being taken for personal purposes and those for commercial purposes.

If a bloke sets up a lighting rig and asks the players to put on some make up "to get the right tone against the pitch" then you can assume that this is not for him to show mates down the pub.

it probably isn't - At the moment. However, what happens when somebody who actually knows what they're doing with the Photo Camera's start avoiding going to the grounds in an official capacity - which companies pay for by the way and starts to buy a cheap ticket?

Or what happens when companies decdie to not pay official photographers in favour of fans photos?

It becomes a mess and thats why they have these rules.

C'mon gregg , like a 2MP digitally zoomed photo on a phone is going to be the same as a £5K Nikon DSLR.
