As with Gav, generally, the car is in pretty good shape - it passed the MOT apart from on these two issues and the coolant leak is just something that's been bugging me.

Another issue is that I'm completley bogged down with work and Masters deadlines at the moment, so part of me is up for simply paying the money out of convenience. It's still a hefty amount though.
Aye, exactly like me then, even down to the fact you are doing your Masters

Heh, then you'll understand why this is just what I don't need at the moment!

It's just a proper crap-attack! Anyway, I've got until Monday to decide. Although I don't use it much, I still do need to have a car, and I really don't think I can be bothered with sorting things out for a new purchase at the moment.

Severely tempted to pay up. :o

When you begin to have to fork out nearly as much as the car's value, to get it fixed - that's the time to get shot I reckon. You could always sell it as 'Spares or Repairs' on EBay, as I did with my old Vectra. Got £60 for it which is better than a kick in the nuts.
