Everything has trading strongly against the US Dollar over the last few years.

The Canadian Dollar is poised to become worth more than the US Dollar in the next year or so. /o\

I remember the days of a 1.3-ish against the dollar for the pound, doubt those days are coming back anytime soon

If you mean these "holiday makers" tehn I dont see the point, as their exchange rate is stronger than it has ever been for quite a while then they are doing the sensible thing.

In the meantime the US economy is reeling and a few thousand pounds of foreign money is going to do little.
