i was just wondering if anyone knows where i can get hold of the transfer rules regarding a player moving twice in one year, i tried the FA site and they gave me the rules on International Clearance for transfers by FIFA. Not helpful. Im at work so i can not access Google. majorly bad.

Just wondering if a player can move twice in one window....

IIRC they cannot move twice, however, they can bend the rules (like Liverpool did with Masch)

They can move twice iirc.

So long as they have not played for one of the two previous clubs they are able to move.

Can move 2 times in a season
and can only play for 2 clubs

Mascherano's problem was he had played for his south american club and West Ham

But theres a clause in all football rules that they don't apply to Special Needs FC, once they appeal

As sybthahols says its played for 2 clubs, not been at 2 clubs.
Mascharano was allowed as one of the clubs was from SA and their seasons overlaps the European ones.
