Would only really work if the Scots (minus the Old Firm ofc) got involved. The Setanta Cup is too easy for the Republic of Ireland clubs as it is, adding Welsh sides who would also be beaten comfortably more often than not, will hardly help the Cup's image. Add in Killie, Motherwell, Aberdeen and co, and it would help raise the image and interest in it.

It would, but I don't know how keen the SPL minus Old Firm are on the idea.

I think they'd use it as a run out for their reserves and under 21 players. Good place for the younger ones to get some competitive experience.

No, it's a tournament designed to get more revenue by having games that the fans are more likely to be interested in. As my previous post points out, England aren't interested in it, so why should they be included? </BLOCKQUOTE>

fair enough about england. But my other point still stands. Scotland desperate for tournament they have a chance of progressing in </BLOCKQUOTE>

More chance of us getting to Austria and Switzerland than England, you spanner. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Or not.

There's more chance of Gretna winning the SPL this year than there is of Scotland finishing above France or Italy

Think you need to re-work your odds. If France beat Italy, Scotland will need 10 points from 5 games (by then it will be 4 games and hopefully 7 points).

Gretna will need to win every game from now till the end of the season to win the league

International &gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt; club

A lot of English have a problem with that fact </BLOCKQUOTE>Only non match going fans and/or who live in other countrys from the team they support think this

fact </BLOCKQUOTE>

i'm a milan fan, i've been to about 90% of milans home games (most of the time in the fossa dei leoni), and about 60% of milans domestic away games in the ten years i lived in milan, yet i agree with what finneys said. international&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;club.

your fact is based on a faulty perception.

The intention was, when talked about before, to include the Big Three Welsh clubs & the best Scottish Clubs not involved in Europe.
