Whatever happened to him during the WC98 final was enough to frighten many of the Brazilian side, which was reflected in their performance. I'm not sure if he had a seizure but perhaps he had a severe anxiety/panic attack which can be extremely dibilitating and frightening.

Ronaldo is simply the greatest striker I've ever seen play the game. He was frightening at his peak, and despite being a bit tubby over the last few years, has still kept up a pretty decent scoring record.
