Is it me or is this BBC article on Ugandan Indians completely one sided
Stumbled across this article by chance and just wondering what people thought. bearing in mind that it's written by a BBC Reporter: Uganda's Asian elite face fresh hostility
It doesn't say anything meaningful about the view of the Asians in all this - or the obvious impact it must be having, imo and seems to me to basically be solely blaming the Indians for being expelled from the country in the 70's
It additionally seems to wave off any idea of racism without any actual support for what the reporter is saying

the racism is incidental. it's about class. building wealth off a poor country's back and creating an oligarchy tends to make the proles upset. welcome to the big leagues.

Have to admit to some admiration for the Ugandan exiles, mind. Those that didn't go back went on to become some of the most successful immigrants in the UK, and those that did go back have utterly pwned Uganda again. Not bad :thup:
