Default Rugby World Cup 2007 Thread - Can anyone stop New Zealand?

12 days to go until KO. Couldn't find a thread. So here goes.

RUGBY WORLD CUP 2007 - FRANCE

Pool A - England, S Africa, Samoa, USA, Tonga.
Pool B - Australia, Wales, Fiji, Canada, Japan.
Pool C - New Z, Scotland, Italy, Romania, Portugal.
Pool D - France, Ireland, Argentina, Georgia, Namibia.

Opening Fixtures:

07 Sep 2007
21:00 France v Argentine (Saint-Denis)

08 Sep 2007
13:45 New Zealand v Italy (Marseille)
15:45 Australia v Japan (Lyon)
18:00 England v USA (Lens)

09 Sep 2007
14:00 Wales v Canada (Nantes)
16:00 South Africa v Samoa (Paris)
18:00 Scotland v Portugal (St-Etienne)
20:00 Ireland v Namibia (Bordeaux)

Surely New Zealand to win their Second World Cup trophy having lost only 5 games in 38.

England with absolutely no chance of retaining the trophy.

Should be a good World Cup with an increased depth to the competition with the emergance of Argentina as a possible force, and many teams being on a fairly equal footing. Should be a few shocks.

My teams Wales, to be fairly awful, in a way I'm quite glad i will be abroad and miss most of it, although it will be a shame not to see the English get a stuffing at the hands of S Africa.

Predictions -

Winner - New Zealand
Runner Up - South Africa
Top Points Scorer - Dan Carter
Top Try Scorer - Brian Habana
Player of Tournament - Sebastian Chabal

*Disclaimer - Apologies if thread already open, if so please close!

New Zealand to bottle again, this thread to die on its arse when the original one resurfaces and League to remain better than union. I coach and ref both and league is vastly superior.
