quick post related question- are the division assigned delivery of parcels grumpy, ill tempered,devoid of manners work shy bastards where you are?

got a parcel last week and as he'd tapped on the door lighter than a gnat ****ing (didnt even try the bell) i missed him, so phoned up and got told the day after tomorrow-obviously 2 days was fs so eventually got them to redeliver it later on

the guy then all but slams it into my hands and mutters something containing "thank god" "here" "coming" & "not"

had problems with this guy before-ive actually missed him whilst being in the front room with the blinds closed before now, only the slam of his door as he made his escape alerted me he was toddling back off to the depot for his cuppa

conversely Phil the Postman who delivers the letters/small parcels is his exact opposite
