Did you not take them tablets before you went, or do they only work for Malaria?

| I did take malaria tablets. Don't know if they stop dengue as well. But I had a seriously explosive stomach bug out there, so they wouldn't have stopped that either. I was going off like a rocket propelled grenade.  | |

There was an outbreak of dengue recently in Rio. Many people I know got it.
But nobody died.  | |

I remember a few outbreaks of it in South-East back in the early 90s when i left the UK, knew a few people that had it and didnt recommend it.
At least you have a manly story to tell people and you can shout down anyone complaining of being sick now as well.
