Ok well i'm moving back up to Hull next week to start my second year of uni.

Got a house and everything so i'm looking at getting broadband with the costs to be split between me and my flatmate.

Now i know Hull is the most annoying place in the world due to Kingston Communications having control on the phone lines.

Now what i want to know is, do i have any other options to get my broadband? Do [Insert Random broadband provider here] rent lines blah blah and so forth.

I would be grateful to learn of the experiences of others.

No choice at all. A local Euro MP is talking about challenging KC's virtual monopoly in the courts though.

Karoo it is, and it's absolutely rubbish.

Whereabouts are you going to be staying?

I'm doing a locum job for Hull Council atm. When I'm not hospitalized. Are there any decent places for a bacon and egg sarnie, lunch or a pint in the town centre?

Do you enjoy living in Hull?

I know about the bad reputation that the place has but personally i don't think its too bad. I had a good time last year.

It's fine, like any place it has its good and bad areas and the reputation isn't really justified at all, so long as you stay away from Bransholme etc.

Tbf I have lived here all my life though, so I don't know much else.
