Chairman of the Arboe GAA club, Kevin Teague, said today's tragedy has deeply shocked the club and the local community.
He is the fourth young person to die suddenly on the island this week.
Yesterday, Zeeshan Muhammed, 16, collapsed in the playground of the Marist College in Athlone, Co Westmeath.
On Tuesday, Patrick Breen, 10, fell to the ground and died during a Gaelic football training session at Drumquin, Co Tyrone and was buried this morning.
That tragedy came just hours after a 16-year-old boy, Tony Parker dropped dead in Moate Community School in Co Westmeath.
Absolutely shocking. Another one today.

I know that in the ten year old's case the GAA club had a defibrilator. Most GAA clubs have them now, as a result of Cormac McAnallen's death in 2004. We decided that as most rural communities have to wait for ambulances that having a defibrilator locally would increase the chances of saving people. Didn't make any difference though.
