I had the exact same turnover time in Heathrow a couple of weeks ago when getting from the US to a connecting flight to Dublin. Had to change terminals, which meant going through security which was a joke. You should be fine, but if your initial flight is at all delayed, as mine was, you'll be in trouble. Hanging around Heathrow on standby is not fun.

how come there is such a small time difference between your connecting flights, if it is indeed a bit of a rush to make it from one terminal to the other?

take the heathrow express train.

Still takes 20-30 minutes though.

Oh yes. After missing my connecting flight due to spending an 40 odd minutes in security, which was just for changing terminal, I then had my bags lost and when they showed up two days later one was broken, and someone had opened a digital camera box which was at the top (I had carried on the camera ofc so not a huge problem).
