having just purchased myself a nice new TV i'm very tempted to invest in the lovely looking Apple TV product. Has anyone got one of these or a similar product?

If you have a heap of music, movies, tv shows in iTunes then it could be worthwhile - makes the who process of sharing whatever is in your iTunes library a piece of cake.

Personally though I would say, buy an Xbox 360, stream your media that way. Not sure on the current price of the AppleTV but you'll have the added bonus of having a games console.

Use a hdmi cable if your TV is capable, it'll be a far better image.

And take a look at the awkwardtv site to enhance its capabilities.
