They're big and slow, what's the deal? It's the tiny flies and speedy spiders that do my head in, with these daddy long legs I just cup them and chuck em out the window.

Haven't seen any yet, but the girlfriend insists on keeping the window open at all times, so I'm sure it's just a matter of time before they're bloody everywhere. :thdn:

You need some of that liquid soap that comes in a pump-pot style container.

By pumping said soap on top of the spider (on a flat surface) it is trapped, and hence suffocates.

By far the best bit is when you return in a few hours - as the soap spreads out, it takes the limbs of the spider with it.

Just remembered my favourite daddy long legs kill; I was about 6, and I had one of those plastic guns that shoots those orangey rubber suction dart things, if anyone knows what I mean. Anyway I got the bas dead centre on the kitchen wall, legs splayed out in all directions with the body squished under the suction bit of the dart. fb shot :cool: good memories :***)
