Default London Underground question...

Going to be needing to use the underground quite alot for uni from next week but I'm unsure as to the costs and the other sources just hurt my brain.

Basically I'll live in Leyton and my uni will be close to Angel. So I'll need to take the Leyton to Angel via Bank and back at least once a day. How much would this trip cost me using an oyster card? And is that the cheapest way or is there an annual travelcard or something I can purchase?

Not sure how much it will be for a single trip. Probably £2 or something on your oyster.

Monthly travelcard for a student from Zone 3 is about £70/80 I think. Will almost certainly be worth it.

Yeah, student travelcard is essential. It's like 30% off the normal travelcard, which in turn is much cheaper than pre-pay. Zone 3 to zone 1 at peak time is £3 one-way I think.
