I can't believe some of you guys not only manage to miss out meals, but manage to do it spectacularly... no food until 5 hours after you've woken up?!

I picture that kind of diet either making you completely matchstick-like or you just binge eat afterwards and end up fat with no muscle..

i dont binge eat (i tend to eat once a day, and at that not very much, largest meal in last two weeks was an 'entire' 10inch pizza) but unfortunatly i've still put on loads of weight since moving to the uk two years ago </BLOCKQUOTE>

Once a day? That's not healthy for you at all. You must eat a hell of alot in that meal to put on weight. </BLOCKQUOTE>

i just said i dont eat a lot, biggest meal was a medium size pizza.
my problem is i drink a lot of coke. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Do you not feel really tired and unenergised only eating 1 meal a day? Or do you mean 1 mean and a bunch a junk food like chocolate...?

if i'm up early i have to eat something. far more likely to feel sick from hunger due to not eating until lunchtime than from having something first thing.

scrambled eggs on toast or some porridge always a good way to kick the day off.

A coffee and a smoke for me, although I do eat a sandwich/toast/croissant at 11.

dont eat chocolate, or junk, either.
normally i wake at around 1-2pm, start work at 3pm, eat at 5.30, end work at 12-1am, go to bed around 3-4am. then repeat. in that time i consume no food apart from half a plate +/- of food at 5.30. but i do drink 2-2.5 liters of coke, and 3 liters of water

I can't eat within 2 hours of waking up but if I go too long I get some serious stomach cramps.

Porridge, sunflower, pumkin, sesame seeds, and some fruit first thing is the way to go. That or a load of eggs and some carbs.
That sounds awfully complicated to put together so early. I drink 500-750ml of coffee and have some leftovers from dinner the night before. Anything more involved than that isn't worth the effort at 6am. </BLOCKQUOTE>

I have mine at 6am too. Pop the oats in the mic for 3 mins, put on my shoes for work, take out oats, put in seeds+honey, eat, go.

Awfully complicated? Please. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Awfully complicated. All I have to do is boil water and open the tupperware containing last night's dinner. Yours is all "take out oats" and "put in seeds." Mine is beautiful simplicity.
