Goo Goo Dolls aren't long ago tbh, I'm 17 and I've heard of them. Sometimes listen to them as well. They're still around iirc.

I get the impression that they had one monster hit (Iris) and have failed to surpass that ever since. Made a living off of it.

Very poor of me to think that but I read a recent gig review which backed up my thoughts. Along the lines of, the set was plodding along until the grandstand finish of the GGD's anthemic Iris.

People remember the one song and they are sooooo much more, just people in the UK dont realise that.
