Moving a show from radio to TV doesn't make it a spin off anyway.

Technically, a spin off is taking one or two characters (and they're usually not main characters) from a multi character show, and making a new show from that.

I'm not sure whether taking a character from a sketch show and making them the focus of their own show works for that definition, but if it does you could have Absolutely Fabulous and Rab C Nesbitt.

One of the things that made Frasier so awesome was that it was consistently funny over its entire 11 series run. Furthermor, you can clearly see how it's humour evolved, keeping the same main base, but expanding it to include new things.
