Your right, but don't take too much away from Max and Paddy's Road TO Nowhere. It wasn't that bad. </BLOCKQUOTE>

It was one of the worst thing i've ever seen in my life.

Don't know which came first but Family Guy &gt; King of the Hill. King of the HIll so boring and unfunny. They were made by the same company weren't they? *unsure*

Frasier is good, but Partridge is better

*controversial*?

Angel was good
i used to watch buffy but lost interest by the time this came around so never really bothered with it-saw the odd few s1 episodes though which were decent enough

some of the CSI's seem to be commercially successful at least (never watched an episode of it though).
saw an ad bit on fiveUS the other week & the key to the success of the two spin ofs is they distance themselves from the original and also tailor the crimes/actors/story's to the city

Miami-drugs,fast paced lives etc. more time spent with the CSI's

NY-more precinct based feels more of a 'cop show' than forensics

Deal or No Deal &gt; Take It Or Leave It

This CRAP gameshow comissioned by Challenge. It's got that knob who used to be the "showbiz and TV" bloke on GMTV doing a very similar format, just with questions and "safes" instead of boxes. Made me cringe.

Survivor &gt; Castaway

Survivor much better (although older).

Angel from Buffy maybe.

Happy Days too maybe, I think that might've been a spin-off. </BLOCKQUOTE>

Wasn't Mork and Mindy a spin-off from Happy Days? Sure i remember reading that somewhere.

I think Frasier has surely got to go down as the most successful spin off, i don't really count the Star Treks or CSIs as spin offs as they don't generally contain the same characters
