Bottling the big races would be a reason as to why Gay is superior to him, surely?

But tell me again, who's the world record holder? Oh yes. Powell's the faster man. He holds the title of the fastest man on the planet. Gay holds the title of World Champion.

How many World/Olympic golds has Asafa won again, compared to Tyson Gay or anyone else?

He could well have got 9.70 if he hadn't slowed up in the last 15metres.

powell is similar to the england football team, good on paper but when they come up against someone decent they choke.

not that i am saying that england are the best team on paper. far from it.

The record will always be broken but Gay's accomplishments will always be noted.

Gay > Powell.

I have a mate who was so slow that he never broke the 11 second mark in the 60 metres, and that was with trying and practicing for weeks before our tests in school.

and mark my words: Jaysuma N'dure will be a medalist at the olympics next year.
