saw a random programme on Channel 5 on Friday with a crazy Saffa bloke called Austin Stevens chasing Komodo dragons around and prodding them with sticks ala Steve Irwin. Was pretty good actually.

Yeah I've seen quite a few of these. In one of the episodes over the weekend it did mention that he was properly mauled. One of his cats (can't remember if it was a lion or tiger) took a huge chuck out of his side/back area and I'm fairly sure it said his spine was exposed, but thats unlikely right? Said he's had to have recontructive surgery on it all anyway.

Pengiun analogy doesn't quite work, maybe something like getting killed by an antelope's horn would be though.

Anyone see the documentry about the bloke that lived with bears? One day they got hungry and ate him and his mrs all was recorded as well, although they didnt show it on, they did put on the sound of it

I've seen a lot of these episodes quite a while ago. He plays football with a couple of them at some point. Seems to me that this man is rather insane. Good show though.
