Don't know if this is a fault or not, but last night while watching TV my Sky+ box turned itself off and started making a beeping noise, and the standby light was flickering, as the box was beeping my TV was flickering. Eventually after an hour it came back on, I checked to make sure I had lost anything I had recorded, and luckily everything was fine, and the box is working as normal, it's just that at the time I was watching Bottom on UK Gold 2, and was enjoying watching it when this happened. This is the third time this has happened now within the last month.

So is it a fault or is the box doing some maintenance or planner rebuilding?

Also I have just taken out another Repair Plan with Sky, if the box is faulty will this cover it being replaced?

Just to add to what I've put, while the box was in standby, there was no response when I pressed any of the keys on the Sky remote.

Sounds like a download issue, phone sky. Its a fault with the box.

Happens with ours occasionally, we've just put it down to bad weather during the night as it's only once a month or something.

Dont know much about the sky tech side of things, can only sort or advise minor problems Robling.

The box is about 12-18 months old.
