Default Ok our office is going to be without water from 10am today - can work legally keep us here?

Just got into work and there's a note saying we will have no water from 10am till 5pm today. Our bosses arent in yet but we're hoping when they do get in they'll send us home because realistically working without being able to use the toilet etc is a tad harsh.

However, without going into too much detail our bosses (there are two of them) are quite possibly the two most anal people you will ever meet and we're convinced they will still make us work when they get in and find out about the water.

So, legally can they still keep us here all day without water?

I would have thought not as you won't be able to flush the toliets, which is unsanitary. 7 hours too long imo.

ahahahahaha this is gold dust and a prime example of how anal my bosses are

They've just told us to send someone out to buy half a dozen buckets so we can fill them up now and use them to flush the toilet with the rest of the day I mean six buckets ffs that will last about an hour!

Everyone here is just shocked, anyone else in the world would have just said ok we cant work in these conditions but not my boss
