Plunkett's not good enough though, he struggles with the very basics of bowling. He can't bowl 6 balls on a good l&L and has a horrible mechanical, over-coached action which when it goes wrong (seemingly quite frequently) he struggles to get it back.

He should be spending the season playing for Durham, he's a good athlete and has potential, there's no way he should be near a test team.

erm correct me if I'm wrong but he's only bowled in one CC innings hasn't he? and he did pretty well in it.

he and Mahmood both got 3 wickets each yesterday, but Anderson bowled much much better.

Plunkett is there for his batting more than anything, despite bowling very well against Lancs we all know players don't get in the England side on county form over just 2 games.

I can't find the county cricket thread, but the telegraph fantasy cricket scores are updated and I'm doing a lot better than I thought, I'm also convincingly top of the duck league!!!
