You seriously think Vaughan is still a good long-term prospect for England Cottager? So so injury prone. Have just looked at some stats and he averages 35 over his last ten tests - better than I thought to be honest, and his leadership is important, but still not really good enough in my opinion, and a poor fielder - wouldn't like to see him keep brighter prospects out of the side.
Shah might not be the right answer but I'm pretty sure Vaughan isn't either, immense as he used to be as a batsmen and probaby still is as a captain.

TMS  Bloefeld's description of a crane earlier was masterful.

Fat Rob "balltampering in a pre-season game" Key is the answer imo.

anyone here Boycs on Five Live? Apparantly, the 1970s Windies only had to shake a coconut tree and three fast bowlers fell out.

| that's what frustrates me beyond belief. vaughan is 1 year older than tres. over their last ten tests, vaughan averages 35 and tres averages 34. vaughan's a tremendous captain. tres' mentalness is about equal to vaughan's injuries as they could both miss games at any moment.
yet through all of that, you see vaughan into the team as a backwards step, whilst tres is the answer. that's terrible
