I've only seen one ep of this show, seems quite decent though, should i try and borrow it and watch it from the start?

Kind of gone off it during the 2nd series but the 1st series was good. Nothing amazing but it had its moments.

The cops episode last week was good. Wasn't expecting anything like that.

Don't like the way that this series has gone really plot-driven, was much better when they used to be self-contained episodes about items on the list.

Apparently there is an awesome celebrity cameo later in the series, but saying who it is would pretty much be a major spoiler so I'll keep schtum.

my sister loves this program. i don't see the fuss.
i watched a couple of the first series that my sister leant me.
it tends to go like this

1.at the begining they decide what they're going to do.
2. a long lengthy part about them going about changing things.
3. a 1 minute ending where all of a sudden everythings OK.

i take the episode where earl has to say he's sorry to this gay guy he bullied in school.

took about 27 mins of the show building up to it and how the gay guyh thought it was all for nothign.
then all of a sudden in the last minute gay guy decides that he's had an epiphany and all is better. just like that.
and when he persuads some old woman to stop smoking.
tie her up for a few days where she hates him then all of a sudden they're great friends.

this is one of those programs that I really like when I happen to watch it, but at the same time will never actively seek it out.

Don't think I've ever watched an episode beginning to end.

But I do rate it very highly.
