I've apparently been drinking all week with an old Greenjacket.
Important things got discovered this afternoon. All except the fellow's name. (All week and I still don't know I'll find out tomorrow - he's a tall brummie with mucho facial hair is all I can say for now.)
The fact that my uncle was also a bloody greenjob. But that was only briefly, as he was medically discharged after a nasty leg break. That back in the 60's, though.
