Student loans and attendance
Hullo. I've missed the last two days of college and looks like I wont be there this week. I have a genuine reason :p Stupid chest infection but I have no idea how taking time off will effect my student loan payment next month.
I know a bursary can be stopped if you drop below 80% but no idea on loan payments.

AFAIK, a student loan will go in as long as you have registered for your course.

I had an 8% attendance record for my year at uni but still received all my payments \o/
But it did mean I was asked to leave at the end of the year :o

Surely if you hand in a sicknote they cannot detract that from your attendance?

Don't need a sicknote if your off for less than 5 days a self cert form does.
Should point out they changed the payment structure this year(In Scotland atleast) you don't get paid a certain amount at the start of each semester instead you get a certain amount every month to help budget better.
