Disgustingly easy excel question
I cant remember how to use excel at all on accounts of never bloody using it since school BUT
so column A is a quantity column B is the cost per I want column C to be the result of A * B?

=A1*B1 in the cell you want the answer, where A1 and B1 are the cells you're multiplying. Jimbo's way will also work tho I think.

dragging the lower right corner is more effective- C&P could just end up with the answer in C1 (assuming thats where the answer will be displayed) repeated for each calculation.
