The day has finally come everyone. Artist Core is finally open (www.artistcore.com). I am here to give you the scoop on this new website that many of you have heard so much about. AC is a site that is based upon many different fields of art. The overall site idea came as inspiration from DA. We wanted a website where all types of art could discuss and showoff their work in an easy manner.

What does AC offer?
AC offers you many different art fields that you can dive into. Each category has a chat, showroom, support forum. Along with these forums, each art category has a department head. These department heads are some of the top designers in their specific field. The Department heads have been hand selected for several reasons. They display expert knowledge in their art field. They also have the skills to help other people improve in the art field.

All of the following department heads are very skilled and talented designers who are here at AC to help you, the member, improve. The Department heads are available to answer your questions in the support forums. Not only are they here to answer your questions. They are also will be providing you with honest in-depth analysis of your work so that you can improve as a designer. We strongly believe that with good intelligent feedback you will improve as a graphic artist.

What else does AC Offer?
Putting the department heads to the side, AC offers you other various opportunities for you to shine as a designer. One way we will accomplish this at Artist Core is by having a group of members called Spotlight Artists. Spotlight artists are members that have been specifically pulled out from the crowd to be recognized as a talented artist.

How do I become a Spotlight Artist?
To become a spotlight artist you need a staff member to recognize your work. If a staff member does in fact recognize your work and is impressed then he or she can post a recommendation for you to be part of the Spotlight Artist Group. If you are accepted then you will be able to post your work in a special forum for all the members of AC to see.

This is your moment to shine people. If you are a spotlight artist we guarantee that you will be noticed and recognized for your talent.

How else does AC help your become a defined and well known designer?

Artist Core has some big plans for tourneys in the near future. If you are a winner of one of these tourney?s there will be great prizes and a lot of attention flowing your way.

What else does Artist Core do for me?

There are many other aspects of AC that benefit you, the member.

1.We plan on have an extensive tutorial section for the many different fields of art. We will have exclusive tutorials written by the Department heads themselves as well as member tutorials. If you would like to submit a tutorial please visit our website and go to the Tutorial submit page and follow the instructions.
2. AC also plans on have a large downloads section for the members of AC. The download section will include free templates, psd?s so you can learn from some of the best designers, brushes and many more things.

What is coming in AC?s near future?
We have big plans for AC. Shortly after our opening we plan to release a graphics pack with submission from the many great artists at our site. We already have started thinking about v2 of AC and the blue prints are only getting better by the day. Lastly, as we said before, we have big plans for AC and this is only the start of the website. We are discussing details with some large companies so that we can provide you with the ultimate prizes. Some possibilities for prizes could be cars, graphic scholarships and much, much more.

The last thing I would like to mention is the Staff of AC. I am confident when I say that we have one of the best staff?s. They provide AC with a sturdy backbone and they are ready to work hard to make sure AC is successful.
