Btw I find that the latter end of a pint is really warm and grim and a trial to drink.
Smaller measures and served much colder (as on the continent) is a much better way of getting a full and enjoyable beer.
| If it wassmaller they would still chagre the same :thdn:

Someone's already said it, but i was going to say get a half.
But...in some places they chargemore than half the price of the pint for the half dont they?
We dont £1.60 pt £0.80 hf
Docker, thought Rasberry Flirtini's were made with Martini's not Vodka or Gin? Maybe im just old and drinks have changed but it was when i first made em!

So, while it's not something I care much about, I'm happy to have the metric system, and happy to hoik the pound in favour of the Euro.
| defending the pound is slightly different though, as their is an economic effect to joining the Euro above and beyond the cost of changing over.
Although you're probably right in that i bet a lot of pound defenders don't even realise that, let alone do it for that reason |

Yes, I was specifically talking about people who defend things that are 'British' for no other reason than they're British.
