woah, was not expecting that.
he was still the manager of armenia or somewhere, no? was reading about him going on some kind of leave last week.
having just checked up, it appears he was admitted to hospital for colon cancer treatment, so perhaps not the greatest surprise...

I didn't realise he was manager of Chelsea when they were in the premiership! Would have guessed it was in the 80's.
