TBH, any Geordie not playing for us is our bogey man - eg Fenton, Tommy Johnson etc

goes back a bit longer than that fella - 1999 was the last time they won at Villa Park against us.

Our bogey side is probably Man Utd - sick of being either twatted or mugged by them. We've not got a good record against Man City or Spurs either.

As for players, Henry and van Nistelrooy always scored against us - now they've both buggered off we dont really have one. Vassell will become one if he scores against us on Sunday. </BLOCKQUOTE>

And Robbie Fowler.

He scored 14 goals in 16 matches against Villa during his two spells with us.

He was a bit of a bogey player for Arsenal as well with us, 12 goals in 17 games plus the Premier League's record quickest hat-trick.

Freddy Ljunberg for a while against United.

Middlesborough turned us over at home a fair few times as well. Portsmouth increadingly becoming one.

Dont know if its been mentioned but i dont think Henry, Nistelrooy and Owen count as bogey players, considering they score against pretty much everyone.

(except owen recently)

In rather recent memory, Fulham and Charlton seem to hold something over us. I remember us battering Fulham as St. James and yet they scored with pretty much every shot they had and won I think 4-1.

Shambles.

Bolton generally do quite well against Arsenal. As of past few years.

Matt Le Tissier and Southampton in general used to be our bogey team.
