Somehow I have an account/credit card with people I've never ever applied to which is quite impressive.
Unsurprisingly it's never been touched...be cancelling that as soon as I get home.

| Pin number? I just put my address details in, put my card in (to be cancelled when I get home) and then asked for a report

Lads, on www.creditexpert.co.uk you can actually pay £5.99 and see your actual credit score out of 1000.

| Which is what i thought all along. Although that doesn't explain why my mate who'd had them for 6 years and hasn't paid a penny in interest because she keeps switching them still keeps getting accepted.
Double standards :thdn:

I've missed the occassional payment by a day or two due to absent mindedness now and again. Always paid it sharpish after that though. Plus haven't missed a payment in twelve months prior to applying for the card - so they wouldn't have known that anyway.
Signed up to credit expert so i could find out my credit rating. Found i was just about in the top bracket for credit ratings, so don't really understand why they rejected it.
| For the same reason as me i guess - too good.

Pretty sure she'd have to pay interest on new payments - just the money she's transferred she wouldnt pay interest on.

| No idea then. very odd. Sure you didn't do what Shawn said and ask for the score? I didn't bother with that bit.
