well you've got to think about it don't you? i mean a japanese person who has never learnt english is not going to think in english.
so a person who was deaf from birth is not going to have learnt oral english so they're not going to think in english.
actually i say that ,they might learn from watching people mouth formations. then the person teaching them will say yeah or no if they get the words right or wrong. but that's it.

I mean the whole 'not comprehending how anyone can think without using language bit'.
It doesn't take a genius to work out that language is a symbolic system (words representing things) and therefore, bereft of language, a person will use something else symbolic that makes sense in terms of their own perception of reality. Probably a similar situation with animals.
We don't always think in words anyway.
