People who call it ISS hack me off as they're trying to make themselves sound hardcore. Not been called ISS for ****ing ages, you don't call Bioshock 'System Shock 3'.

this could go on for ages. basically any abbreviation that can be said as a vaguely real sounding word usually gets said as a vaguely real sounding word. OFCOM, OFSTED, FINA and so on. so calling it pez hardly a strange one.

Actua Soccer was a bit legendary
for some reason I remember being amazed by the commentary in it
"EXTEBERRIA!"

still remember how amazing the iss pro games seemed at the time. 'omg he looks well like ravanelli! look, it's baggio, he's got a ponytail!'. not just refreshing compared to fifa, refreshing compared to the turgid updates of pes we get every year these days.

only actua soccer goame i had was 3 i think (the one with shearer on the box) only got it because i liked how the replays had the speed and distance of your goals
