the only acceptable terms imo (and coincidentally the ones that I use)
'pez' ifs
and yes the commentating on them making it sound as if its a real game is cringey
| 'pes' is wrong but 'pee-eee-ess' is fine?
was always pro evo for me until uni where it became either 'pro' or 'pes'. students just immense at being lazy.

yes
P.E.S. follows the format of I.S.S therefore is acceptable
"pez" sounds sh*t

So Miles was on the show to talk about Pro Evo (I'm frankly too scared to say PES - trying to keep in with the kidz)?
Sounds like it was a resounding success then?

if someone approached me and said "fancy a quick game of PEE EEE ESS mate?" i don't think i'd stop laughing for a week. nothing wrong with 'pez' at all.

it's using the initials, like everyone did for ISS? not sure why you find it so hilarious.

i remember when ISS Pro came out on the playstation (the one with ince and ravanelli on the box), i ran home from uni in anticipation. my house mate had actually not bothered with his morning lectures so he could go to game and buy it.
we pulled the sofa round into the middle of the lounge to within about 3 feet of the tv.....and stayed there for 21 hours. got katherine (girl we lived with) to bring supplies in the form of tea and fish-finger sandwiches. we allowed her time off to sleep, during which we decided who would make tea and snacks with a penalty shootout. i miss those days
then there was the night we both woke up at about 4am, me leaning on the wall him on my shoulder at the bottom of my bed (after a night out clubbing followed by late night ISS) with the score USA 1-1 Iran at half time and no memory of anyone actually scoring |
