My favourite was a few years ago when in the spar in Wilmslow. Andy Cole walks in with a bottle of some alcopop, and asks the lass behind the counter if she can open it for him.
She says no, he walks out without buying anything.
I looked amazed, chuckled to myself, and then bought two quids worth of crap chocolate bars.

And I walked past Nick Owen (news presenter on Midlands Today) the other day in Birmingham :cool:
