might consider stuffing them in the future, although 2 inches is a bit small.
or skewer them and grill if you had something thin like capellini. dress the pasta with olive oil, butter, parmesan and parsley and set the skewers on top.
there's really nothing to be afraid of. even something like this
Get a pan put oil in , let it get hot, throw in little pieces of cut onions, pepper , salt. Ready. I put some cream into it, to but you dont have to, also some ready made sauce always does the trick.
