Do NOT do this.
Over the counter eye drops contain preservatives which, if you have an infection, will give the microbes something to feed on and they will multiply, causing a corneal ulcer.
Go to a doctor to see if you have an infection or a small ulcer. Chances are you have both.
The proper course of treatment is a broad spectrum anti-biotic eye drop, followed (after the infection is gone) by steriodal drops to rebuild the tissue of the eye.
If they send you to an emergency room, you may need to undergo a corneal scrape. These are not fun and will hurt, but it may be necessary to see what kind of microbe is causing the problem.
Been through serious corneal ulcer problems myself. No fun.
