Gerrard has said he would take a painkilling injection to play for England. Not too happy about that tbh as he already had one last week v Chelsea.
Hope he just rests it tbh - surely a midfield of Carrick and Hargreaves is good enough ffs, we are talking about nearly £40mill of talent.

I dont think we will win both games, thats for sure. No Gerrard, Lampard and Beckham stinks of poor performances. But hopefully the sacking of Super Khunt

thats annoying, how long has just Gerrard or Lampard been wanted on their own in midfield without having them both. Then they're both injured at the same time..

Robinson has been criticised on here for his performances being more Hyde than Jekyll, at club and international level, over the last 2 seasons. Are there any other keepers who you would start ahead of him?

I'd have had a look at Carson before know tbh
but I can see the argument for not throwing him straight in for a competitive match. James is just going backwards tbh.
